Teamsters Win Strike in PA : After a 20-day strike, Teamsters Local 429 members at Cresco Labs' Sunnyside dispensary in Wyomissing, PA secured a new contract with major wage increases, improved healthcare, and stronger job protections. Union leaders called it a landmark win for organized labor in the cannabis industry. Article
Prohibitionists Encounter Obstacles in MA : A campaign to repeal Massachusetts' adult-use cannabis program faced tough legislative pushback at a March 23 hearing, with lawmakers grilling the spokesperson on data, out-of-state funding, and whether repeal would simply create a black market. The Legislature must act by May 5, but 63% of Massachusetts voters oppose the repeal effort. Article
Interesting Number : 7 States have potential to legalize cannabis in 2026. Idaho and Pennsylvania are the strongest candidates for reform this year, with Idaho activists on track for a medical legalization ballot measure and Pennsylvania lawmakers pushing bipartisan adult-use legislation. Louisiana, Nebraska, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee remain in the mix, while Florida, Wisconsin, Hawaii, and New Hampshire have all fallen out of the running. Article
The Fourth Musketeer : The possible remains of the real-life D'Artagnan were discovered beneath a church in Maastricht, Netherlands after floor repairs revealed a skeleton alongside a French coin and musket ball fragments — consistent with his death during the 1673 siege of Maastricht. DNA from the skeleton's teeth is being tested in Munich and will be compared against known descendants. Article
