ZZZ's X Lenox Hill Cannabis Company Rolling Paper Competition

1st Place Winner - $1500
2nd Place Winner - $500

We’re excited to invite you to submit for the Lenox Hill Cannabis Company X ZZZ’s custom booklet competition. Here is a bit of info about the project and how you can submit:

The goal of this booklet is primarily to be a piece of art. The parameters for this design are:
  • The Design must incorporate the Lenox Hill CC “73rd Street” logo in some way (logo below). The goal is to create a scene around this logo, maybe a subway station, maybe a scene of the upper east side of nyc, maybe something a bit more abstract.
  • While physical and digital artworks are both accepted, there has been an indication of preference towards non-cartoony submissions
  • This dispensary is on the Upper East Side of New York and caters to a higher-end and sophisticated clientele.
  • Must meet the ZZZ’s design specs to ensure the piece fits on a booklet
    • It is important to note are there is a front and back of a rolling paper. Each panel is 4 3/8 inches by 2 1/16 inches and the ridge is 1/4 inch making the total canvas when opened a square of 4 3/8 inches by 4 3/8 inches. This means any design with a 1:1 aspect ratio should work perfectly. If you plan to do two separate designs for front and back, they should be able to work well with each other. If you plan to make one continuous design (preferred), please ensure that the bottom half of your design (the front of the booklet) and the top half of your design ( the back of the booklet) don’t look awkward or cut off on their own.
  • First round of designs due by February 28th.
This is supposed to look very different from your traditional rolling paper booklet with a brand name on it. Please know that if your design is chosen, there may be a bit of back and forth required between you and ZZZ’s to finalize the booklet to ensure everyone is happy with the final outcome. Please email aidan@zzzs.art with any submissions or further questions. I'm also happy to hop on a quick call to go over the details of the booklet.

General Submission

Each year, we open up submissions for a new collection of rolling paper booklets.

We invite you to submit a digital copy of an original art piece. You are free to submit work that has already been produced, but we encourage you to read the Terms and Conditions for more information about image format and content that we are prohibited to feature on our rolling paper booklets.

The ZZZ’s team will review all submissions and select all final pieces of art for consideration. From there, our team will reach out to the selected artists to discuss the next steps of the collaboration. Artists will be featured across all of our social media, our website, and any other marketing initiatives. Let’s make something awesome!

Submissions Close 12/31/2024
